Your time is over now.
Like all others,
People will rise,
rise and rise,
Standing unified with
Hands held together,
Fists in the air –
With thoughts of
Burning in their minds,
Visions of your hegemony
Crumbling in flames,
From which a new world
From imperial ruins.

The “Islamic terrorism” that is their excuse for the enduring theft of Africa’s riches was all but invented
A full-scale invasion of Africa is under way. The United States is deploying troops in 35 African countries, beginning with Libya, Sudan, Algeria and Niger. Reported by Associated Press on Christmas Day, this was missing from most Anglo-American media.
The invasion has almost nothing to do with “Islamism”, and almost everything to do with the acquisition of resources, notably minerals, and an accelerating rivalry with China. Unlike China, the US and its allies are prepared to use a degree of violence demonstrated in Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Yemen and Palestine. As in the cold war, a division of labour requires that western journalism and popular culture provide the cover of a holy war against a “menacing arc” of Islamic extremism, no different from the bogus “red menace” of a worldwide communist conspiracy.

Thanks to Chile
In first place, we would like to thank Chile for the attention received and for the effective presidency of CELAC since its constitution.
For Cuba and me it is a great honor to assume today the rotating presidency of CELAC. I feel it is a recognition of the selfless struggle of our people for their independence which serves as a special tribute to José Martí, on the 160th anniversary of his birth.

The West has started a new maneuver with its presence in Africa
Differences among the Islamic nations serve the game of the enemies
Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei today warned that the West has started a new maneuver with its presence in Africa, during his speech at the 26th Conference of the Islamic Unity that is being held in this capital. “Any differences among the Islamic nations are means to make the game to the enemies,” said Khamenei, who recalled that unity among Muslims is one of the most sacred precepts, according to the sermons of Prophet Mohammed.
The Iranian Supreme leader also recalled that during the Islamic revolution in Iran its leaders “had to face policies aimed at sowing discord.”
