  1. I am so glad those brave men are finally home to their families, friends and heroic people after 15 years in the dungeon. They should never have been jailed in the first place. These men were sent by the Cuban government to penetrate the anti-Cuban terrorist groups which were waging a campaign of bombing hotels in Cuba, killing tourists having a good time there, bombing Cuban planes and dropping propaganda leaflets on Cuban soul.

Does anyone believe that the American government and the American people would allow Cubans or anyone else to attack their country in these ways?

Does anyone believe that any genuinely sovereign, independent and dignified country would put up with foreign terror and interference that the Cuban 5 were sent to prevent in their country?

These men are patriots and their bravery to protect their homeland against the Miami based Cuban terrorists should be celebrated not condemned by patriots in America and elsewhere.

Finally, I am also happy that Alan Gross was set free by the Cuban government on humanitarian grounds to reunite with his family and friends. He too deserves freedom and joy despite his obvious breaking of Cuban law.

The shift in US policy towards Cuba announced by President Obama in the wake of this swap of Gross for the remaining 3 Cuban prisoners of the 5 initially jailed is long overdue and welcomed by those who refuse to live in the 1950s and 1960s Cold War era. Those who choose to embrace 50 years of failed US policy towards Cuba like Senator Rubio, Jeb Bush and a host of other right wing nut cases should get over it and get a life and become forward thinkers!
